Why nursing school is ruining my life (but why it’s worth it)

• I’ve gained 4 pounds in two weeks
• my kidneys are dying due to my high caffeine consumption.
• I constantly crave cookies due to the stress
• I am constantly exhausted
• I am constantly on the verge of a nervous breakdown.
• I never see my family
• our house consistently looks like a nuclear war zone
• I have missed out on so much of our son’s life.

However-

• I am showing my son the importance of education.
• I love what I do.
• What doesn’t kill me makes me stronger.
• You can live with one kidney.
• This is a season, it will pass sooner than later.
