Why did I feel the need to try on bikinis at target when I was wearing ugly period underwear and have eaten nothin but crap and I’m bloated and having cramps?

Why did I invite everyone over for a BBQ tonight? Now I have this frantic urge to get all kinds of things done! There isn’t enough time in the day, it’s hotter than heck outside and I’m so tired. I also work a 12 & a 16 hour shift this weekend.
I wish I could take my dogs with me everywhere. The look so sad when I leave the house.
The first four hours of work were more then a little hectic. Things calmed down after shift change and I had time to chart while snuggling a baby (perks of working in Peds). I’m really starting to get into the swing of things; better time management, better at patient/family communication and I’m much quicker at charting then I used to be.

Today is the day the cast list for Little Mermaid Jr will be posted. It probably won’t be up until tonight but I am compulsively checking it every 10 minutes. JJ will be thrilled to be cast as anything but I know deep down he wants to be Flounder. The boys he was up against were not nearly as good as JJ is, nor do they have the experience. However, Flounder can be cast as a boy OR a girl....
